Certain orgs leadership is fully incompetent and looking out for their own careers. Feast or famine dependent on territory. Flink isn't relevant. Admittedly, Confluent Cloud is the best Kafka solution but leadership cannot find a way to expand outside of kafka and most likely won't. Make sure you ask coworkers about the leaders you're working for before joining
