Current Employee Overall, I think there are many great people at Cotality. The people I work with are the only reason I have stayed as long as I have. The products we sell are in high demand, and there is a strong acceptance of this type of data and technology. The problem is that a lot of what we sell (valuations/hazard risk scores) has become a commodity. We have so many competitors, and we are nowhere near the cheapest option. Our contracting process is very cumbersome, and we do not make it easy to work with us. When I started at Cotality there was no formalized onboarding process. Zero training was provided. It was trial by fire. Since starting they are trying to devote more time and resources to training. This is a hunter-farmer role but I can count on 1 hand the amount of inbounds leads that have been sent my way. Most of the time this "inbound lead" is a customer who in reality has a customer service question. I'm not sure how much money is being put into marketing automation/lead generation. Executive leadership lacks an understanding of how we differ from our competition. Browse Other Reviews
