My experience at Datadog has been positive, however, it is difficult to hit quota year over year due to long sales cycles and small account lists. It takes a lot of creativity and effort to manipulate your comp plan in order to maximize your commissions on a yearly basis.

Great company with a supportive team culture. However, the CSM KPI for net new growth can feel inconsistent and challenging to achieve, as overages from the previous month often offset potential gains, making targets harder to hit.
