My overall experience here was a mix of growth and challenge. I had the opportunity to work with talented colleagues and sell a product with real market demand. However, internal alignment and support structures could be inconsistent, which at times made execution harder than necessary. Success was very much self-driven, so resilience and ownership were key. With the right manager and accounts, it can be a rewarding environment.

Leadership and product management was ahead of the curve for Observability, with build-in AI, however since 2022 it seems like Datadog has challenge keeping up with market development.

Inbound leads are very light after 1 year I’ve had 3 good ones. Marketing has an up hill battle and is not creative. Our competitors spend 2-3x on marketing and it shows, our product is better though so if you can get into a deal the product proves it self.
