Current Employee Middle management is bloated, protective, and allergic to autonomy. It’s easy to fail upwards here. Micromanagement is actively encouraged, even in a region staffed by seasoned professionals. Innovation is stifled beneath layers of ego and “we’ve always done it this way.”
Salesforce is a multi-year, seven-figure disaster. Poorly scoped, broken, and nowhere near operational efficiency. Prospecting playbooks are frozen in time; expect 2016 tactics delivered via managers who have no demonstrated excellence.
New hire salaries have dropped annually since 2017. Internal talent is routinely undervalued while external hires command premiums. The narrative around “elite training” rings hollow when paired with pay compression and limited upward mobility.
Their value proposition is facing real headwinds. The AI narrative doesn’t hold weight, and there’s growing friction around how much of their differentiation is manufactured vs. actualized.
Speaking up is punished. Alternate ideas are shut down. Transparency around performance expectations is shaky. Coaching frameworks appear performative or retaliatory depending on who’s in the room.
