pretty stale, bloated leadership in MSE (mid size enterprise, healthcare specifically). Managers are promoted if they can regurgitate Gartner sales lingo, not if they can actually lead their sales people to success. Gartner is a great product, though, if they can treat us like sales professionals and not micromanage then I can see them actually hitting their often unmet yearly sales goals

Just keep squeezing your client for more! Gartner's value prop has not changed in forever, but they want the clients to spend more and more. Also, there's a big question, from clients and internally. What is the relevance of canned research in the world of GenAI? Its good resume builder, nothing else.

Base is fine, OTE is awful. However, the career growth and professional development are unmatched. Good company/office culture. Free breakfast and lunch in office every day. 1 day mandatory in person, rest remote.
