Leadership relationships are key to succeed in this culture, the leads are very stale and over touched, clients are either very happy or very unhappy & your success widely depends on which set of cards you are dealt/if the client sees Gartner as an asset or view it as the Gartner Tax (tech clients), positive thing is they do say it is recession proof & this does hold strong, when the market goes down customers come to Gartner

Tons of micromanagement, even for seasoned Enterprise AE’s. Tons of meaningless tasks to inflate vanity metrics for leadership.

Gartner has been great to me. This organization truly is a great one, and I couldn't think of a bad thing to say about it. If you want to sell here, you've got to be CONVICTED in the product because it can be challenging at times.
