Overall experience is that leadership is out of touch with real world market conditions. There is little room for creative sales approaches. A robotic approach to each sales engagement is prioritized. Much of middle management has had very little outside experience - they grew up in Gartner and don't understand that canned presentation are not always effective and that creativity is necessary in the art of sales.

Kind of cult like. Leadership believes that Gartner is the one true source of information and that prospects should feel lucky we’re calling them. Product is strong to people that need A TON of strategic help, but that’s few and far between which leads to long sales cycles and a lot of Nos.
