Gong is an incredible company with a strong product and a great culture. I genuinely believe in the value of the platform. That said, the market fit in my territory wasn’t as straightforward as I expected, and it was challenging to operate as an Enterprise rep while primarily being assigned SMB and Mid-Market accounts. The expectation to drive enterprise-level outcomes without true enterprise account coverage made the role difficult to execute effectively.

Commercial sales at Gong is fun and competitive. You’re pretty much always working 5-10 deals at a time. I’ve seen people close $250k (ARR) deals - they’re out there. Its a fun role, but requires a ton of hard sales skills and ability to handle stress
