What is the sales team culture like at Grafana Labs?

Not good unfortunately. I recommend weeding thru here and Glassdoor to find the real reviews and specific to the GTM and sales functions. Very immature leadership, typically young reps that were early at the company and hit quota by having massive territories before maturing into a more typical sales model. These reps were promoted and put on pedestal's and ego's massively inflated.

Lots of micro-managing and demands on prospect generation. Managing daily activities in a spreadsheet, outbound call blitzes that irritate the market with reps doing any and all they can to book a meeting regardless of outcome.

Some issues have been resolved with GTM no longer being run by the COO who has never carried a bag and was too busy implementing woke practices into the org to be bothered with morale or the advancement of product. CRO has potential but also stuck in playing favorites and giving way too much runway to mid-level and VP leadership to pass deals to friends including intimate friends. Party and bro culture way too rampant especially in the central region. Customers complaining about having to deal with these individuals, deals slipping or churning due to focus and white knuckling on the next big deal.

The sole goal of leadership is to IPO or get purchased, therefore, quota carrying reps feel tremendous pressure to employ unnatural tactics to bring in deals, especially new logos.

As another post stated, comb Linkedin for prior reps that have left the org and seek out a direct conversation to get real/honest feedback as it appears that HR and other functions are trying to flood the review queue's with net positive scores to avoid blowback.

Person before me who answered this nailed in on the head. Be very careful. Unless you are absolutely in need of a job there are better ones out there that are better for your mental health. It's a ton of work and stress for benefits that don't match the input.
