How challenging is it to meet sales targets as a new AE at HubSpot?

The market is not friendly to Website based CRMs anymore, it's very hard mate. Hubspot is a sweatshop and they will milk you till you got nothing to give. Honestly the system is lacking Braze/Mo-Engage like solution that's causing the jam here. Don't waste your time.

The first few months are attainable. The initial ramp period is 10 months, but after that, it's not that common to hit monthly sales targets consistently.

Ramp is fine, but unattainable after that.  I was on a PIP and knew there was no hope so just quit.  Easier to explain later.  The economy/territories just crushed MM.

As a NEW AE - pretty easy (12-month ramp) - after, that...VERY tough. The norm for SB reps is to hit their monthly quota within the last day or two of the month's end. Very stressful

VERY challenging, especially in small business. On average, 16% fully ramped reps hit in my direct  cohort. There is not enough demand for the rate they are hiring and you find yourself fighting over and for leads.

Quota is almost 80k a month. The avg deal is 7-9k. That isn't realistic. That is just a joke LOL.

It used to be attainable but since the economy has changed, it’s been nearly impossible. Not only are people buying less, but customers are trying to cancel left and right. That’s why so many people are on PIP and so many reps have gotten let go no matter how long they’ve been at HS

As of 2024 if a company churns that you sell that deal is taken from your quota attainment. Its anti rep and not attainable.

Very challenging. An average of 15-20% of ramped ramps quit quota month for ver month. Over 50% of sales team is on PIP. People dropping left and right. Not worth it.

MM quota was just raised to 82k arr a month. The avg deal is 9800 arr lol. So, probably not going to get it lol.

Before I left  about 35% of MM was hitting quota. SMB much better.
