Why are a ton of Hubspot AE's on linkedin recruiting heavy right now? Have things gotten better from a goal attainment standpoint or did the company just raise recruiting incentives?

Prob because they want to make the referral money but I just left there and talking with friends still there… it’s not better. Just a lot of people on pips or leaving

HubSpot has the mindset that the more people you bring into the sales org the more revenue will grow.

The tricky part is, all the territories are already over saturated by existing reps and this is becoming more and more apparent given the hiring kick. No change to comp or incentive structure.

My friend, this is a churn and burn operation. HubSpot hires new reps as fast as they fire them.

Can't speak for the Corporate or Mid Market segments, but only about 25% of reps hit quota every month in SMB. Too many reps, not enough TAM.

Smoke and mirrors. The reason so many people are posting about jobs are because of new incentives to get referrals. Why?? Because it’s a rotating door of people getting PIPed out or people lucky enough to get out for a real opportunity with real leaders.

My guess is the mass exodus of reps hired in 2023/24 who left last year has put them in a tricky spot. I was hired and there in that time and now there are only 2 people still there from the two teams I was on (out of around 15 reps). Those two were more tenured with much better accounts. Beware

In SMB things have not turned around. The VP just got let go after a tough 2024. MM and Corp it looks like things are starting to improve. But the company raised recruiting incentives which is why employees are posting on LinkedIn.
