Former Employee Hubspot has a fantastic product, but it’s getting so large that it’s becoming difficult for newer reps to the product to understand well enough to be an effective seller against quota expectations. They are helping by adding product specialists who specialize in lesser known or understood products, but those folks can’t be everywhere at once. This combined with less inbound lead flow and high sales expectations made the direct selling role at HubSpot a difficult one to be successful at unless you were able and willing to put in many extra hours.
