HubSpot looks for high-calibre talent. Gives you a steep learning curve and requires high level of self-organization, consistency, resilience. Harder to be successful if you have not sold complex SaaS product beforehand. The steep learning curve pays off in later sales roles but can be tough at beginning.

Easy to Hit goal on ramp, but if you can not hit a full quota by month 6 or 7 you should be concerned about how long you will be able to make it off ramp.

Beneath its surface lies a toxic culture of relentless "high-performance," where top achievers and managers are relentlessly pushed beyond their limits. The toll is evident in the countless instances of burnout, layoffs, and the draining of exceptional talent and potential.
