I was a bit put off by some of the reviews here before joining HubSpot. But now that I'm inside the org, I've got to say that it's really not all that bad. People are chill, product is solid, comp is standard, and targets aren't crazy high - people are hitting their numbers, not everyone, but it's not rare to see. Lastly, for me, being fully remote is the best thing a job can offer. I'm getting 8 hours of sleep each night, I'm spending more time with the fam, and not having to commute in traffic is awesome. I clock in from home, I do my work, I clock off and get back to life. Leadership is chill. Not a ton of micromanagement unless you're not doing great which is normal for any org. And they're making a lot of positive changes to improve the org overall. One thing I will say is that it's a lot of work. This certainly isn't a "cruise" job where you can finish your work in 5-6 hours and kick back all day. It's a full 8 hour a day job. Overall, not a bad place to be.
