Current Employee A lot of fake -assuming ask from our HR team to management - reviews on here that are misleading.
Inaccuracies backed by my experience + internal data.
1. Attainment numbers for NON-RAMPING reps are very low (think sub 20%)
2. The majority of the sales force on the floor is ramping/under 12 months due to high attrition post ramp ( ~300 reps in the MM segment, majority are ramping)
3. Leadership continually tries to figure out ways to “motivate” reps due to low performance (usually pop up contests out of the blue for deal creation, closing in a certain segment, etc) without considering maybe there are some organizational constraints (bad capacities, terrible opens, monthly sales cycle, no inbound, etc.) that may be contributing to poor attainment across the board. More concerned with the narrative of “people aren’t working hard enough” than the reality that “maybe we have created a system that makes it nearly impossible to consistently succeed here long term”.
In my time here have, have seen HubSpot lose a lot of really great talented reps.
