The account structure is varied between different sectors. There are no inbound teams and it's up to the sales engineers and sellers to generate leads, but sometimes you feel at times you are competing with other brands at IBM for the same business since there is so much overlap between solutions.

Note a few things - IBM Has about 6-9 Product Teams and the product you are assigned to determines a lot of your destiny. Certain things such as Data, AI or SPSS Portfolio are much better than Cloud, Maas360 or Storage

IBM isn’t that bad, but it does have a negative stigma in some places and not in others. It’s so person and manager dependent that it could be incredible or terrible.
