Former Employee3.4Jul 12, 2025IBM is a nice culture. People are nice. Market compensation. Customers never respond to out-bound prospecting. But easy to hit quota because a customer will buy software in your territory as part of a large deal. You can make a nice living there, but as a non-technical AE, you're not really growing your skillset

Current Employee3.3Nov 28, 2025So much overlap in sales roles, complex comp plan, very little ownership. The products are decent though, and the company name gets meetings. A decent place if you are willing to play the internal game.
