Current Employee Working as a Sales Engineer in IBM’s Digital Sales organization has been both rewarding and challenging. The smaller team size fosters close collaboration and visibility, and I’ve had the chance to own technical conversations, lead demos, and influence deals early. That said, the structure can feel ambiguous at times, with shifting priorities and limited resources. Internal alignment across sales, marketing, and product can be inconsistent, which sometimes slows execution.
