I was at a start up and IBM acquired us. The base pay went up substantially but my W2 went down substantially as well. I was continually moved around, eventually into a failing business unit that was dissolved. The training and leadership for my group, was non existent. I think IBM is a good place to work if you are in the right group with the right leadership. You can make great money, however, you have less control over your W2 than at a more nimble company.

Harassment on each team I joined. Discouraged from going to HR. Impossible quotas. The company is bleeding talent and will be hollowed out in 5 years as they burn and churn the seasoned reps in favor of new hires. Onboarding is atrocious and management is cold.
