The incentives of the plan make sense though (penalize insane discount giveaways which were a huge problem). Tons of reps were desperate with "negotiations," offering an entire free year to bait a quick signature before customers even pushed back on price.
There are no more territory walls and a bunch of vets got promoted or moved to new segments, so now's a great time if you're looking for an SMB AE role because the playing field has leveled.
KnowBe4 definitely has the best product on the market, but don't come here and expect it to be easy. It's generally a highly competitive sale as with any niche in cyber.
The base pay sucks even with the recent pay bump, and beware of micromanage-y leadership.
All that being said, I'm optimistic. The market's view of security awareness training as mission-critical will only increase with time, especially as breaches continue to make headlines.
