strong product-market fit but a complex sell; hard to justify ROI of the solution. a lot of current customers on bad contracts looking to downsize or jump ship

It’s okay. Get to wear multiple hats which is both good but overwhelming when you’re busy and trying to get stuff done for your clients.

Very few sellers hit quota last year 2023. Unclear objectives set by new leadership, product is slow to innovate, losing a lot of deals to main competitor due to pricing structure and exec relationships, comp package doesn't incentive you at all. I believe things went down hill after PE purchased us
