After nearly 5 years, I don’t have a desire to leave. The comp package is at market rates, I have good customers and Microsoft has positioned itself well for AI.

Microsoft has a catty culture that’s based on high expectations, competitive internal software, a lack of tech understanding, that leads to very awkward combative relationships that aren’t productive. They also have very combative and subjective judgement criteria’s cross org that are essential for your bonuses and yearly reviews.
