I love working for Microsoft. However, in Ireland, many people are dissatisfied with the cost of living in Dublin compared to the compensation they receive from Microsoft. I believe this concern is unfounded. For two main reasons: 1. Many of these individuals are in junior roles and have higher compensation expectations. 2. Additionally, many of them migrated to Ireland for a job at Microsoft. And did do thorough research into the cost of living in Dublin, Ireland before accepting their roles and compensation packages.

Microsoft is one of the best tech companies to work for. A safe haven from layoffs (usually) and management is a lot more relaxed. You do not make the same at other tech companies (ie Salesforce). However, in my experience Microsoft is a much more relaxed company which has a well-being focus. This is, of course, manager dependant so I do highly recommend to always...Read More
