DEI had been important and I saw there be genuine efforts towards this however in the past year that seems to be going by the way side. Men with less experience and skills are being promoted over women with greater skills. There started to be an emergence of a Good ol boys club when pressure set in. The last RIF really made this evident. Competitive comp is higher and some are keeping people at lower levels despite experience and responsibilities to keep costs down.

Lateral moves make that making a jump in pay is super hard. Not the best work environment because of (senior) management. Also the way you have to do your review feels like they are just locking in information to use later on, and not to your advantage…
