Current Employee A lot of changes happening over at Mongo. Recently there has been a mass exodus of leadership and reps plus a complete gutting of the acquisitions segment which now no longer exists in NAMER. Compensation is well behind the industry and hasn’t changed in years. Some deals take a long time to get paid out on due to the commission structure and many reps aren’t even 40% to quota with only 2 quarters left.
I used to love working here but the changes that have come with new leadership are brutal and there isn’t alot of thought into how these things can effect career growth.
Keeping a positive mentality, but if you join mongo now, be ready to join chaos.
Product is great, customers are great, immediate team is great. Leadership across orgs can’t get on the same page. If you get an entry level job here, take it. If you are an AE, make sure to confirm your patch before committing
