Has been disappointing so far. Motive made AEs take a pay cut to move into this role from SDR. Theres constant restructuring of the org which hurts relationship with SE managing accounts. Account data quality is terrible and often tmes will call accounts with no fleet. Quotas feel somewhat reasonable but because of a lot of changes it feels like a no win situation. The base is very low intentionally to try and make reps hungry but overall just feels like a toxic environment to be in. There are great people but those in power have done very shady things in terms of manipulating compensation. There is a lack of trust for sure.

Overall fairly strong leadership in the SE org. Mid-market faces a large pool of junior AEs which can extend the normal job functions of the SE team.

SDR/AE Sales culture lacks here after speaking to colleagues, especially in Mid-Market. They said it wasn’t like this a couple years ago. I think the growth has had pros/cons. Pro- Truly is the best product on the market. Con- Pay is not great, well commission Id say. Manager or KPI metrics can make or break your experience here.
