Motive has a very strong product market fit, and an attractive compensation plan to make you a lot of money. The customer base is very unique, and I've seen it hard for reps from other industries to adapt. However, if you adapt and follow the playbook we have - it's very hard to lose deals. The TAM is huge as well. Great time to be at Motive right now.

Overall, Motive gave you the tools to be successful but between the leadership issues, the comp structure, the lack of sales leadership support and training, it created a toxic work environment for me.

For a while, it was an exciting growing environment. Shoaib is a very respectable leader and has a strong core group surrounding him. The environment became corporatized and managers were pressured to artificially inflate KPIs leading to quota attainment being increased by over 100% in under 8 months. Not very sustainable.
