I came into this role needing a job because I was laid off. It's not a bad company to work for overall. Pretty easy to learn products and industries to sell into. The CEO is way too involved in everything trying to make it public. The company is very productivity/outcome-focused and will micromanage nonstop if you fall behind. Also, don't count on any job security, but with all that being said your numbers are not unattainable and fair if you put in any effort.

I had a great go at Motive as a commercial rep, but then was "promoted" to a Mid Market - Premier Account rep and the job went south very quickly. The company is pre-IPO and in various lawsuits with their competitor: Samsara. Tough time to be there, especially in an economy like this, pre election. SDR/AE Sales culture lacks here after speaking to colleagues, especially in Mid-Market. They said it wasn’t like this a couple years ago. I think the growth has had pros/cons. Pro- Truly is the best product on the market. Con- Pay is not great, well commission Id say. Manager or KPI metrics can make or break your experience here.
