How would you describe the culture at NICE?

Echoing other comments, I was dropped weeks after passing my probation. There was no process, just an unofficial performance plan that had moving targets at the managers discretion.

Lost a lot of sleep over this role and am much happier being far away from NICE.

Agreed with everyone else. Horrible culture that starts at the top. They will fire you at any moment and it doesn’t always correlate with your sales numbers. Many people have been fired before they could be paid the full amount owed to them. Stay away.

Not very “NICE”. They like to throw bodies at a small quantity of cold target accounts with little resources or marketing insights  given and are fine seeing 70-80% reps fail. They will just flush them out and rinse and repeat.

Extremely toxic. Management leads based on fear. It’s like mafia style. People stay because you can make a lot of money if you’re in Majors / Strategic segments.

Ultra toxic.  Worst corporate culture ever for sales.  Management rules by fear with zero compassion (or credibility or intelligence).  Management is completely detached from reality and thinks that NICE is a destination workforce, when in reality they are an employer of last resort.  The only reason that decent employees stay is because the comp plan takes forever to pay out commissions, so good salespeople are always being owed commissions that the company that can take a year or more to pay out.

They will fire you at any given day of the week zero notice. They don’t give severance pay. If you’re a woman it’s even worse. No consistency. Silo’d sales teams competing against each other. Attendance required last 2 weeks of the year. Yet half the partner org was OOO and many others in sales also

It depends on your department and if you are in an "at will" work state.  In sales, you can (and WILL) be cut at any time with no warning.  That builds a culture of fear and mistrust- especially if the whole department is missing the numbers.  Then they just start firing reps one by one.

And yes- they FIRE the reps, not lay them off.  That way they do not have to report any RIFs and the stock does not take a hit.  But it also means that there is no separation package and no severance pay.

There is no culture by design, just a demoralizing place.  They do a mandatory "anonymous" survey that you know is linked to you so you can tell them everything is great or else.

Very difficult culture.  Resources to support the account team are often way stretched.  Employees are viewed as expendable.  Challenging to understand and get paid your commissions.
