Current Employee House of brands with no cohesion, toxic leadership culture post-acquisition
My experience at OpenText was unfortunately very negative. Everything within the former MicroFocus business unit — leadership, products, and internal collaboration — was strong. After the acquisition, that culture was dismantled and replaced by an environment defined by micromanagement, politics, and fear.
The organization operates like a “house of brands” with no internal cohesion. Systems are fragmented and cross-department communication is poor.
Targets are inflated, the back-to-office policy is enforced aggressively, and morale has dropped across all levels. If you’re a capable seller who values clarity, collaboration, and ethics, look elsewhere — this is not an environment that enables success. Browse Other Reviews
