I’ve been at Paychex for many years. The culture still shocks me how we have numerous divisions selling the same services and reps stepping all over each other for revenue.

Very cut-throat environment with no rules of engagement and a lot of bad data in salesforce. Reps will work in your territory who shouldn't be and are able to get away with it by saying they were referred. You also have to compete against 8 or more other reps within your territory, each trying to get credit to refer different products. Leadership knows what goes on...Read More

Training was not good. I came out of it not knowing so many things. While there is something to be said for being a hunter and a self starter there should be a minimum standard of readying employees to sell on their own.
