Current Employee Paycor overall is a great company. Unfortunately in the bank space you deal with a lot of brand new business customers that are referred from banks and they tend to have low funds, or try to skate by as long as they can without using a payroll company until the IRS catches on. It can be very volatile as far as results and management can really push results to an extent that makes it not enjoyable. If you do well your quota goes up and then they often cut your territory in half so it makes for a rough experience in year 2-3. The 1st year management position is hardly management, you are a veteran seller and do some leadership stuff but don’t have the capacity with increased quotas to really develop people. Many people start on the SMB bank team and then leave to another role in Paycor because of the challenges in micro space.
