Excess capacity leads to very few reps and managers hitting quota. Micromanagement is now the norm. Compensation plans have gotten better (real accelerators) but salary and variable are still a level below the market. Attrition is at an all time high. API solution is not up-to-market standards and SEG offering is expensive with little differentiation. DLP offerings are very good and priced well. Time to first deal is very long, you may not survive.

Great experience here. After working elsewhere for a few years and looking back, Proofpoint offered good support, good leadership, inbound leads, and a solid structure for success.
