Proofpoint is a fantastic company, extremely profitable with outstanding market leading technology and the people are great. They could improve drastically by increasing compensation for certain groups and offering a much more competitive profit sharing/401k match - long standing employees would also greatly appreciate some type of equity package now that we are private

Huge turnover at Proofpoint, well over 30% in the first year. I was never lied to worse in my career than when I joined Proofpoint. Not a single thing was delivered that was promised. The manager that did all that got promoted. That should say it all right there.

I have been at Proofpoint for 6 yrs. While they are still a great company, they are very different then when I started. Product is top notch. But it is a tough sales role in the commercial org due to territory sizes.
