How would you assess the effectiveness of your sales leadership team at Qualtrics in terms of coaching and professional development? Based on your interactions with the sales leadership, would you recommend working at Qualtrics?

Its really luck of the draw with the sales leadership you fall under but in general, it's lacking or nonexistent. If that is a priority for you then I would not recommend Qualtrics. There's a ton of change happening and quota attainment is sub 20%.  There is the potential for large deals but they are not frequent and without those you won't hit your number.

During my time with the company, there was no emphasis on coaching or professional development within the team culture. My manager was solely focused on achieving numbers and did not prioritize professional development or coaching. The environment was quite competitive during my tenure. Although the company had great products to sell, I would rate my overall growth and development, led by my manager, as a 2 out of 5. I had to rely on self-motivated learning and development.

It is my opinion that it is possible to get good career development coaching at Qualtrics. I have had good managers that were focused on this and helped me gain promotions and learn in the context of deals. I also believe that Qualtrics (same as any company) is what you make of it.

Right now in my career, I lean on my skip level (RVP) for professional development and coaching. I've simply asked for it and my RVP has invested time into this with me. I generally believe and trust my sales leadership at Qualtrics.  Right now, I am observing that sales leadership is in survival mode as attainment is so low across the board, which I will admit has led to a reduced top-down focus on coaching and career development.
