Former Employee I was a high performing sales manager for 2 years at Qualtrics. From day 1 I noticed the elite culture the company had at a level unlike any I've seen prior. As my tenure went on that culture deteriorated more and more over time. The earning structure was great and on the SDR team, many were making more even than in sales - red flag number 1. Because of this, no one said a word and the perpetuated overpayment for the position continued. Enter Silver Lake, PE firm that now owns Qualtrics and everything changed. I sound like a bitter ex-employee and maybe so, but even before massive layoffs and significantly reduced pay structures took place, Sales management exhibits a culture that is siloed and forces each rep and manager alike to "peacock" themselves in order to be noticed. Those who were quiet were ignored. Those who were too loud on their accomplishments were disrespected or looked at negatively. Reps and managers play politics with the right mixture of performance and making sure their voices are heard. Because of this, I would leave Qualtrics alone for a while until they can sort things out within sales. Browse Other Reviews
