Current Employee Product is positioned to thrive in these types of market conditions. With many companies looking to reign in SaaS spend, Rippling has a powerful platform that makes the job of scaling a growing company (specifically one with a distributed employee base) much more manageable with a lean team. The wide range of products presents many opportunities for large "land and expand" deals and tech-stack consolidation plays.
Onboarding and ongoing training is sorely lacking. Rippling definitely has a "fail fast" culture. With such a wide breadth of offerings/potential use-cases, most of the training was only focused around the core platform with little to no opportunities to really dig in and understand the problems we are great at solving or not great at solving.
New products launch frequently, and you are expected to be an expert and run customer ready demos on day one with minimal training or exposure to the new offerings.
Compensation is somewhat below average when compared to other SaaS companies but in the HRIS/HR Tech space they are right on par. Rippling is not shy about being frugal (it's one of their key pillars), health insurance is not great - very expensive/poor coverage.
