Former Employee Rippling is a fantastic product. However, over the years it has become convoluted with too many SKUs and difficult to understand for most end users. It can be the perfect fit or a complete mistake depending on tech aptitude, bandwidth, and motivation.
Quotas are so high that reps end up being forced to fit square pegs into round holes. This is when churn happens and partnerships get burnt.
With growth, the once “special” place to work has become just like the companies it was created to defeat. Hiring external and out of industry leadership dissolved the only remaining culture that existed.
Overall, it’s a short term play. My hiring manager told me, during my interview, “No one will ever retire at Rippling.” He was right. Most stay until they are quietly cut off from network access with no internal acknowledgement.
