Overall, I loved my time at SAP, but eventually decided to pursue different opportunities due to 1.) Genuine lack of and respect for work life balance, 2.) compensation structure which heavily cripples the base increase received year over year (strong starting salary, but only a 0-5% increase each year), and 3.) leadership which only focuses on numbers (not performance, there’s a difference) and operations. Hitting your numbers, but missing deadlines for operational, tedious tasks are viewed as equal indicators of performance and not in a good way. At one point, I had been consistently hitting my numbers but was denied a compensation increase due to operational efficiency.

I hada great experience working at SAP. I was working mainly for the Canadian market. The compensation is great and so if the culture and the flexibility. Overall I had a great time while working there. Everyone is very nice and helpfull.
