As always - a rep's experience in terms of leadership and culture is highly dependent on which specific team the rep joined. In my case I had 3 different leaders in 3.5 years. The first two leaders were excellent while the last leader created an environment of pure favourism for "his boys". Territories got reallocated annually with a clear bias for his mates. It was actually laughable.

If you get good TAM you’ll be okay. Over saturated markets like NY, Chicago are tough to really upsell

Overall experience has been amazing. There’s really no place like Salesforce. The only downside is that it takes awhile to go AE and the comp structure. You are told a certain OTE but it’s all based upon deals closing, which…Salesforce is expensive and tends to have a longer sales cycle which then affects BDR’s pay.
