I started on the .org side of Salesforce before it was acquired. The culture was much better back then. I had taken on a new role with primarily all Greenfield, prior to the pandemic. Once the pandemic hit, it became an impossible task to attain goals. While this point of view does not represent all of Salesforce leadership… for this organization specifically, they lack transparency.

Salesforce was a phenomenal place to work. The culture and people are great. An AE, regardless of vertical or segment, can make uncapped commission and salaries are in-line with other big SaaS companies in the US.

Salesforce culture, product fit, and general opportunity for success is awesome. The AEs have more resources than one could ask for (all most too many to where it can get confusing) but there really isn’t a reason an AE shouldn’t hit quota in the SMB space.
