Both Samsara and Motive hiring on RepVue - I know I'm asking Samsara reps here - but be honest, compare contrast products, orgs, ability to make $ - are the two comparable?

If you are looking to sell for a copycat product with the whole selling point being just like us and cheaper Motive is a great option.

Products are very similar, Motive just seems to be a tad behind. I have full confidence in the leadership at Samsara, in particular Sanjit Biswas, in making strides towards profitability. Motive lacks support as well which is a huge pain for their customers.

You honestly should ask KeepTruckin reps this.

I say this respectfully but there are a handful of reps at keeptruckin who used to be at Samsara. They got let go from Samsara and moved to keeptruckin because KT recruiters ping samsara reps once a month on LinkedIn.

There aren’t really any KT reps who are now at Samsara bc Samsara sells more on value and KT is more about low price. Samsara wants value sellers, not commodity sales reps.

I can’t speak for who pays more. But keeptruckin has super low prices, it’s got to hurt their margins so I don’t know how much they would pay out to sales reps.

All I know is I know which product I’d rather sell that’s for sure. In the Enterprise/advanced space we really only lose to them when the only thing a prospect cares about is price. They rebranded to motive and basically copy our website, write fake articles about us, it’s odd.

They just had their third round of layoffs in the last year on 7/10/23. 
Samsara is better in every way. KeepTruckin just rebranded to look like us, they sell their product for 70% off then wonder “why haven’t we IPOd yet?” 
Their sales strategy is “go after samsara customers and offer half off”
