Current Employee Samsara has its pros and cons. It is a well established public company that has great perks including ESPP, RSUs, stock refreshes, great benefits, and reasonable base pay.
Unfortunately, the current MM role has taken a down turn in terms of quota attainment across the board due to internal issues. The most notable issue is that upper leadership distributed account books in a way that creates major disparity and ultimately severe systematic issues. People may have less than 100 accounts while other could have 250+, but quotas are the same and it does not give equal opportunity to hit quota. This also results in reps doing 125%+ while others do less than 20%, but there really is nothing in the middle.
With that being said, changes are being made slowly and I do believe it is still a great place to work with great career trajectory and upward movement.
