Interviewing for a Sr MM AE role. How is current attainment looking across the team? Also curious to know how OTE works here - I see 60/40 split, is 200K out of the question for senior reps? Also saw some reviews saying that you don't get your commission until next year, is that true?

Current Shopify EmployeeOct 1, 2025More QuestionsDid this latest layoff at Shopify of nearly 20% hit the sales org hard? Accepted a role as a SMB AE for Retail (expansion). Noticed quota attainment was low for last Q, but did see they ended up adjusting quotas after the fact due to the low attainment. Is attainment historically low? How often do the territories change once you've been assigned? Should I be concerned?
