Just entered the interview process for Sr. AE - MM, New Business. Role sounds interesting and similar motion to what I do now (I work at AWS). What am I missing and what do I need to know? OTE seems kinda low (240k), but I was told that was negotiable based on YoE and how interviews go...
More QuestionsDid this latest layoff at Shopify of nearly 20% hit the sales org hard? Accepted a role as a SMB AE for Retail (expansion). Noticed quota attainment was low for last Q, but did see they ended up adjusting quotas after the fact due to the low attainment. Is attainment historically low? How often do the territories change once you've been assigned? Should I be concerned?
