My overall experience was very negative - poor, unprofessional middle management and top reps consistently discouraged with no internal growth. New metrics and ROE changes occur on a weekly basis, leaving reps scrambling and burned out. Lack of internal promotions for SDRs is a huge issue. While I learned a lot here, I am not sure it was worth the mental anguish + micromanagement I received towards the end of my tenure.

Immediate management is great. Sales Managers are great to work with. Senior leadership team are difficult to say the least. Manage change poorly and have little understanding/respect for sales Product is outstanding. Best in the market. Compensation is pretty strong.

Shopify is a great company but not a sales first culture. There’s a ton of movement every single quarter that impacts your chance of hitting quota.
