Snowflake is an amazing company with an incredible product (best in market) in a space that is growing like mad. Biggest draw back, is that leadership expected the 2022 recession to not have any impact, but it did, so loads of people missed target. They have not made mass layoffs though and lightened the blow through spiffs halfway through... but still, targets were too big this year given the macro climate.

Fair. Quotas are insance and mostly based on consumption that is very difficult to forecast

My overall experience was disappointing. I accepted a greenfield hunter territory within the Enterprise segment. The expectation set by my leadership was that it would require a 2 year build. An expectation that I found acceptable given the long term opportunity. The first 6 months would be spent building pipeline that I'd be expected to close during months 9-24....Read More
