Former Employee I really enjoyed working at VMware. I was there for only for six months before being acquired by Broadcom. I was very succesful in my role, hitting 254% of quota in FY24, and tracking for over 800% in FY25. Unfortunately, I was laid off. Silver lining is the severance package and that it was not performance based. I was a top seller there, but I had little Expiring Annual Revenue for the next fiscal year, so I suppose salesops did not see me as useful to keep. I feel like salesops/quota asignment does not take into account pipeline...maybe that's just me!
