Former Employee Success at Verkada is heavily dependent on your assigned territory—some reps thrive while others struggle despite working just as hard. The role is very prospecting-heavy with a constant focus on cold calling, so you’ll spend most of your time dialing rather than building relationships. Leadership emphasizes that “you control your own success,” but in reality, performance is strongly tied to luck of the draw with accounts. On top of that, the quotas you’re expected to meet are very very high, which makes hitting your number much more difficult than it should be.
